Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Turnaround and Restructuring Director to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. The Director will lead client engagements, manage cross-functional teams, and work closely with stakeholders to stabilize operations, improve performance, and execute restructuring strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex turnaround and restructuring engagements from strategy through execution.
- Conduct financial and operational assessments to identify performance improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement restructuring plans, including liquidity management, cost reduction, and organizational redesign.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, lenders, and other stakeholders.
- Provide interim management support (e.g., CRO, CFO) when needed.
- Prepare and present detailed reports, financial models, and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with legal and financial advisors in distressed situations, including bankruptcy proceedings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in turnaround, restructuring, or performance improvement consulting.
- Prior experience at a restructuring advisory firm, investment bank, or private equity firm preferred.
- Strong financial modeling, analysis, and project management skills.
- Proven track record of leading client engagements and managing teams.
- Experience in interim management roles (CRO, CFO, COO) is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed across client sites and firm offices.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $160k - $180k
Discretionary Bonus: 30-50%+
