Senior Accountant
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant - Fund Controller to join our Luxembourg-based team. This is a strategic role offering close collaboration with the Finance Director, providing a unique opportunity to gain exposure to high-level decision-making and fund strategy. You will be responsible for the full financial oversight of a portfolio of real estate investment funds, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of real estate investment funds.
- Prepare and review periodic financial statements in accordance with Lux GAAP and IFRS.
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process with external auditors.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory and tax requirements in Luxembourg and other relevant jurisdictions.
- Liaise with asset managers, property managers, and service providers to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
- Prepare capital call and distribution notices, investor reporting, and NAV calculations.
- Support the implementation of internal controls and process improvements.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis of fund assets.
- Participate in the onboarding of new funds and structuring of investment vehicles.
- Work closely with the Finance Director on strategic initiatives, financial planning, and investor communications.
Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is a strong asset.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, preferably with a focus on real estate funds.
- Solid understanding of Luxembourg fund structures (SICAV, SIF, RAIF) and regulatory environment.
- Experience with Lux GAAP and IFRS; knowledge of consolidation is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; Yardi or similar real estate systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; Spanish or German are an advantage.
