Risk Officer

We are seeking a Risk Officer to strengthen first‑line risk management within the investment activities. This role supports disciplined investment decision‑making by embedding robust risk assessment, monitoring, and governance in line with our mission and risk appetite.

You will work closely with Investment teams to assess new and existing exposures, identify emerging risks, and continuously enhance risk frameworks and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Investment teams in structuring transactions with a balanced view on impact, risk, and return.
  • Strengthen investment proposals through clear analysis of key risks and mitigation measures.
  • Participate in credit and/or equity committees for new, high‑risk, or restructured cases.
  • Manage the credit risk rating process and ensure consistency with underlying assessments.
  • Monitor portfolio performance to identify early warning signals across countries, sectors, and partners.
  • Produce dashboards and targeted reporting on financial markets, commodities, and portfolio trends.
  • Recommend partners for enhanced monitoring and follow up on agreed risk actions.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of credit risk policies, tools, and monitoring processes.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field; certifications are a plus.
  • 4+ years' experience in investment, credit, or risk analysis within banking, impact investing, private markets, or rating agencies.
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills with sound judgement and adaptability.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
