Residential Transaction Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Transaction Manager to oversee and coordinate real estate, financial, or commercial transactions from initiation to close. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of the transaction lifecycle, ensure compliance with internal processes and external regulations, and serve as a liaison between stakeholders, including clients, legal counsel, financial institutions, and third-party vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate end-to-end transaction processes, including due diligence, documentation, approvals, and closing.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders throughout the transaction.
- Ensure all transactions comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
- Prepare, review, and track key documents, contracts, and reports.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, real estate, and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely execution.
- Track and report transaction progress, highlighting potential risks or delays.
- Negotiate terms and support the drafting and execution of agreements.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure proper archiving and audit readiness.
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices to optimize transaction management efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Law, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in transaction management, real estate, finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of transaction documentation, compliance, and workflow management.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with transaction management platforms a plus.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple complex transactions simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in residential real estate or structured finance.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, FINRA, real estate law).
