Product Manager - Electronic Trading

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for product planning, requirements analysis, and functional design of securities / quantitative trading systems, covering core modules such as order management, risk control, algorithmic trading, and market data processing.
  • Develop a deep understanding of quantitative trading business scenarios, identify user needs (e.g. portfolio managers, traders, risk management teams), and translate them into effective product solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, quantitative research, and operations teams to drive the full product lifecycle from design to implementation, ensuring system performance, stability, and scalability.
  • Track developments in securities trading systems (e.g. OMS, EMS, FIX protocol) as well as industry dynamics such as exchange rules and regulatory requirements, and continuously enhance product competitiveness.
  • Produce product documentation including PRDs, wireframes, and process flows, and participate in testing, acceptance, and user training.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product experience in fintech, securities, or quantitative trading, with hands‑on ownership of trading system design.
  • Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end securities trading lifecycle, familiarity with broker trading APIs and database optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and risk control logic is a strong plus.
  • Experience with quantitative strategy development or financial IT systems (e.g. Hundsun, Kingdee Securities) is preferred; proficiency in Python / C++ / Java is a plus.
  • Excellent logical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions; proficient with tools such as Axure, Sketch, SQL, etc.
  • Strong cross‑team communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced quantitative development environment.
