Role Summary
The team is seeking a skilled Quantitative Researcher to join a team focused on equity volatility trading. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary group of researchers, engineers, and traders to design and refine systematic trading models in the options space. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and intellectually rigorous.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and test predictive analytics and statistical models to inform trading decisions
- Integrate new signals into existing trading frameworks and evaluate their performance
- Adjust strategies dynamically in response to evolving market conditions
- Collaborate with trading teams to enhance execution and risk processes
- Conduct research into volatility dynamics and develop innovative trading methodologies
- Continuously improve existing models and strategies through performance analysis
- Build and maintain robust risk assessment tools for multi-asset portfolios
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Physics, Mathematics, Engineering)
- 3-5 years of experience in a quantitative role within a high-frequency or market-making environment
- Deep understanding of volatility modeling, signal generation, and market microstructure
- Demonstrated success in developing and deploying options trading strategies
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience handling large datasets
