Manager, Actuarial Process Management
My client, a leading player in the life insurance space, is looking to hire a Senior Actuarial Modeling & Automation Specialist to join their team. This is a high-impact role driving modernization efforts across actuarial and asset modeling platforms.
What You'll Do:
Lead end-to-end automation and modernization of actuarial and asset modeling systems
Build scalable data pipelines and automation frameworks (Python, SQL, Databricks preferred)
Design and document current/future state processes
Support the implementation of a large actuarial data platform
Collaborate closely across actuarial, technology, and asset management teams
Support data governance, BI reporting (Power BI), and system integration
What They're Looking For:
7+ years of experience in the insurance industry
Strong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, and Databricks (or similar platforms)
Proven track record in actuarial system modernization, process automation, and data pipeline development
Experience with BI tools (Power BI), data/process mapping (Visio), and version control/project tools (Git, JIRA)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Bonus: Experience with actuarial modeling tools like MG-ALFA, AXIS, or Prophet
