Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of M&A transactions across the asset and wealth management sectors, including buy-side, sell-side, and strategic advisory mandates.
- Oversee financial analyses, valuation modeling, due diligence processes, and preparation of transaction materials.
- Manage junior bankers, providing guidance, oversight, and feedback to support high-quality deliverables.
- Work closely with senior bankers on origination efforts, including idea generation, market analyses, and pitch development.
- Interface directly with clients, counterparties, and internal stakeholders, playing a pivotal role in relationship management.
- Contribute to thought leadership and sector insights within the AWM landscape.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of relevant experience, ideally within FIG investment banking.
- Strong track record of M&A execution, with exposure to asset managers, wealth managers, RIAs, and related subsectors.
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, with deep understanding of FIG-specific valuation drivers.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a lean team structure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident in client-facing environments.
- High level of initiative, work ethic, and leadership capability.
