A growing boutique investment bank in Cleveland, OH is seeking a talented Investment Banking Associate to join its middle‑market M&A team. The firm focuses on Services, Healthcare, and Industrial sectors, offering a combination of hands-on deal execution, direct senior exposure, and a balanced, people-first culture.
What You'll Do
- Lead execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence coordination
- Draft CIMs, management presentations, strategic analyses, and internal/external deal materials
- Participate directly in client meetings, strategy sessions, and negotiations
- Support senior bankers with business development initiatives and pitch preparation
- Mentor and collaborate with analysts to maintain a strong, cohesive team environment
- Gain exposure across the firm's core industry verticals: Services, Healthcare, and Industrials
What We're Looking For
- 2-5 years of investment banking experience (M&A highly preferred)
- Strong skills in financial modeling, valuation, and presentation development
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-facing capabilities
- Bachelor's degree required; CFA/CPA a plus
- A self-driven, collaborative professional excited to work in a boutique environment
- Genuine interest in middle-market advisory and long-term client relationships
