Healthcare Investment Banking Associate

Overview

A leading specialized Healthcare middle‑market investment bank is seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Associate to join its growing advisory platform. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and execution capabilities, with healthcare industry exposure considered a significant plus. This role offers hands‑on transaction responsibility, client exposure, and the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers on M&A and strategic advisory assignments.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of buy‑side, sell‑side, and capital‑raising transactions across various industries, with opportunities to work on healthcare engagements.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, including valuation analyses, LBO models, and operating forecasts.
• Prepare high‑quality client materials such as pitchbooks, Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), management presentations, and board‑level deliverables.
• Conduct industry and company research, including market mapping, financial benchmarking, and competitive analysis.
• Assist in managing due diligence workstreams and communication among clients, advisors, attorneys, lenders, and internal deal team members.
• Contribute to business development efforts through preparation of pitch materials, market updates, and prospective client research.
• Work directly with senior team members to develop transaction strategies and client recommendations.
• Provide guidance and training to analysts, helping to elevate the quality and consistency of team deliverables.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in investment banking.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree required.
