About the Company: Our client is a leading boutique investment bank specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) within the industrial services sector. With a strong track record of successful transactions, the firm is known for its deep industry expertise, personalized client service, and innovative deal structuring. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banking Associate to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Execution: Lead and support the execution of M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side mandates. This involves preparing pitch books, financial models, and transaction documents.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis and valuation, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
- Due Diligence: Coordinate and manage due diligence processes, working closely with clients, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure thorough and efficient reviews.
- Client Interaction: Maintain and develop client relationships, providing strategic advice and insights throughout the transaction process. Act as a key point of contact for clients.
- Market Research: Perform industry and market research to identify trends, potential targets, and strategic opportunities within the industrial services sector.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior bankers and other team members to ensure seamless execution of transactions and high-quality client service.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A. Experience in the industrial services sector is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to work long hours and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
