Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000
Overview: A leading independent investment bank is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join their team. This firm advises family & founder owned businesses, private corporations, as well as independent sponsors, on mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, special situations, valuations, and other assignments. With a global reach through a cross-border mergers and acquisitions network, this firm offers senior-level attention from experienced bankers with deep industry knowledge and transaction expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Support senior bankers in transaction execution and client management
- Perform financial analysis and modeling
- Conduct industry research and business due diligence
- Participate in marketing efforts
- Develop client presentation materials
Qualifications:
- Three or more years of previous experience in M&A Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Private Equity, Accounting, and other related Financial Services fields.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
- Sell side M&A experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling
- Proven track record of strong transaction execution, including presentations, financial analysis, transaction marketing documents, and preparation of other materials
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
