This team delivers specialized advisory services to companies across the industrial and manufacturing sectors, combining global reach with deep sector expertise. They support clients through complex M&A transactions, valuations, and strategic decision-making, with a strong focus on middle-market businesses. The team has a proven track record in sectors such as aerospace and defense, automotive, chemicals, packaging, and logistics.

Job Summary:

The firm is seeking a seasoned investment banker to join the Industrials team, focusing on founder-and family-owned businesses in the middle market. The ideal candidate will bring strong M&A execution experience, a proven ability to generate new business, and a collaborative leadership style. You'll be stepping into a team undergoing transition, with opportunities to shape its future alongside junior MDs and incoming leadership

Requirements:

• At least a decade of experience in middle market investment banking, preferably with a respected boutique or regional firm, with a strong track record in M&A deal execution
• Proven ability to originate business by leveraging existing networks and proactively building new relationships, including through outreach efforts
• Skilled at identifying opportunities to introduce complementary services
• Strong decision-making skills, grounded in thoughtful analysis and prioritization of key factors
• Experienced in overseeing daily client interactions and managing project work flows to ensure smooth execution
• Recognized for leadership and the ability to navigate and influence within matrixed organizational structures
• Communicates clearly and effectively in both written and spoken formats, with sensitivity to diverse audiences
• Brings a collaborative mindset and a history of working successfully with teams from varied backgrounds

Responsibilities:

• Participate in a broad range of transactions, contributing from the early pitch phase through to final deal execution
• Present complex regulatory, financial, and strategic matters in a straightforward and actionable way to support key decisions in corporate finance
• Promote services to both internal stakeholders and external clients, helping to build relationships and drive business development initiatives
• Maintain high standards in client deliverables by applying meticulous attention to detail
• Provide guidance and support to team members at the Analyst, Associate, Vice President, and Director levels
• Take on diverse assignments, with responsibilities tailored to match individual experience and skill level

Salary:

Yearly Salary: $300k to $375k
