FX Options Front Office Risk System Engineer
This is a hands-on development role where you'll collaborate closely with product owners, traders, quants, and other stakeholders to deliver high-performance, scalable solutions. The role is part of a long-term strategic investment in building a best-in-class in-house risk and lifecycle management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain front office risk systems for FX Options
- Collaborate with global teams including trading, quant, operations, and technology
- Contribute to all aspects of the DevSecOps lifecycle: development, security, and operations
- Deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions in a fast-paced environment
What We're Looking For:
- Strong experience supporting front office trading platforms
- Proficient in Java, with solid knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
- Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently under pressure
- Comfortable working in a diverse, global team environment
Preferred Skills:
- Full stack development experience
- Familiarity with observability tools for monitoring and tracing
- Exposure to multiple programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, C++, Scala, scripting)
- Understanding of FX Options markets and trade lifecycle
- Knowledge of risk concepts such as risk measures, matrices, and topographies
- Experience with third-party risk management platforms
