Executive Director, LATAM
The Executive Director, LATAM, is responsible for establishing and maintaining an end-to-end understanding of the client group structure and client needs across Latin America. This role steers the client relationship through strategic Account Planning and acts as a senior banker for a defined portfolio of public sector clients. The Executive Director will also lead efforts to drive the regional Public Sector team's strategy and revenue goals, support inbound activity to New York, and collaborate with internal product partners and relationship managers (RMs) across multiple geographies. This role requires regular travel across the LATAM region to engage with clients and stakeholders in-market.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop a deep understanding of LATAM client structures, needs, and strategic priorities.
- Lead account planning and relationship strategy for key public sector clients in the region.
- Serve as the senior banker and trusted advisor for a defined LATAM client portfolio.
- Travel regularly to LATAM markets to maintain and deepen client relationships.
Regional Leadership and Collaboration:
- Drive the LATAM Public Sector team to deliver on strategic objectives and revenue targets.
- Support and coordinate inbound client activity to New York from LATAM markets.
- Collaborate with RMs and teams across the Americas and globally, ensuring alignment and consistency in client coverage.
Team Development and Mentorship:
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior bankers and RMs, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Act as a senior resource and mentor across the broader regional team, even in the absence of direct reporting lines.
- Strategic Execution and Risk Management:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with client needs and bank strategy.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage risks associated with client relationships and transactions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, International Relations, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Significant experience in banking or financial services, with a strong focus on LATAM markets and public sector clients.
- Proven leadership and client management experience in a cross-border, matrixed environment.
- Fluent in English; Spanish and/or Portuguese proficiency strongly preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across Latin America.
