Director of Quant Technology - Crypto (C++)
The Director of Quantitative Technology will lead the design and implementation of high-performance systems that power 24/7 algorithmic trading strategies in digital assets. This individual will drive both strategic and hands-on initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and cutting-edge solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve the front-office technology stack supporting systematic crypto trading, including data pipelines, execution systems, risk engines, and post-trade analytics.
- Lead integration with decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms, including real-time on-chain data ingestion and protocol connectivity.
- Oversee the development of greenfield projects while enhancing existing infrastructure to meet the demands of high-throughput, low-latency environments.
- Partner with quantitative researchers and traders to deploy and optimize automated strategies in real-time.
- Establish and enforce high standards for software quality, system reliability, and development practices.
- Mentor and grow a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on real-time systems and quantitative trading environments.
- Deep proficiency in C++, with additional experience in Python considered a plus.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling complex, high-performance trading systems.
- Strong understanding of crypto markets and a genuine interest in DeFi technologies.
- Proven leadership in managing technical teams and delivering mission-critical systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD workflows, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) is advantageous.
