Director, Energy & Infrastructure Private Equity
A leading investment platform is seeking a senior investment professional to join its Infrastructure and Energy team. This individual will play a key role in sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing private market investments across the broader infrastructure landscape. The position offers significant responsibility and visibility, with the opportunity to help shape investment strategy, drive portfolio growth, and lead complex transactions from inception through realization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the sourcing, evaluation, execution, and ongoing management of infrastructure investments
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, valuation work, industry research, and investment underwriting
- Lead transaction processes including due diligence, structuring, negotiations, documentation, and investment committee presentations
- Monitor portfolio company performance and work alongside management teams to support value creation initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors, management teams, advisors, intermediaries, and other market participants
- Evaluate investment opportunities across a variety of transaction structures, including direct investments, co-investments, and strategic partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant investment experience within infrastructure private equity, private markets, asset management, insurance, pension, or similar investment organizations
- Demonstrated track record of leading transactions from sourcing through execution and portfolio management
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and investment underwriting capabilities
- Experience evaluating and managing complex investment opportunities
- Proven ability to build relationships with management teams, investors, advisors, and industry participants
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
