Commercial Lines Distribution Representative (PA/NY)
Position Overview
The Commercial Lines Distribution Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with insurance agencies and brokerage partners to drive growth across small, mid‑market, and large commercial segments. The role requires a solid network of industry contacts, strong professional presence, and a comprehensive understanding of the organization's commercial product offerings.
The representative will focus on expanding and supporting the company's appointed distribution partners through consistent engagement, collaboration, and strategic outreach. This is a full‑time position. The expected base salary range is approximately $95,000 to $100,000, supplemented by quarterly and annual performance‑based incentives (five incentive opportunities per year).
Key Responsibilities
Essential duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Build, strengthen, and manage relationships with independent agencies and brokerage partners to support commercial lines growth.
- Identify opportunities for new business across assigned markets.
- Conduct regular in‑person visits, meetings, and hospitality‑based interactions with distribution partners.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the organization's commercial insurance offerings to effectively support and guide agency partners.
- Execute distribution strategies aligned with the company's overall business model.
- Communicate consistently and provide proactive support to appointed agencies.
- Maintain reliable and predictable field presence; onsite engagement is considered essential.
- Perform additional responsibilities necessary to help achieve territory and organizational objectives.
