About Us
We are a nimble, technology-driven proprietary trading firm operating in global financial markets. Our edge comes from our ability to rapidly adapt, optimize, and deploy high-performance systems. We value autonomy, deep expertise, and clean, maintainable code that delivers real-time impact.
The Role
We're looking for a Senior C++ Engineer with deep experience building low-latency trading systems. You'll take ownership of the full software lifecycle-from design and architecture to deployment and performance tuning. This is a hands-on role working closely with traders, quants, and fellow engineers to push the boundaries of speed, reliability, and scale.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize ultra-low-latency trading infrastructure using modern C++ and Python
- Analyze and improve system performance at the microsecond level
- Collaborate with strategy teams to support and evolve trading algorithms
- Optimize network and system-level performance (e.g., kernel bypass, NIC tuning)
- Build tooling and monitoring systems for deployment, observability, and resilience
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership and design reviews
Requirements
- 5-10 years of professional C++ experience in a high-performance, real-time environment
- Proven track record of building low-latency systems in trading or similar domains (e.g., HFT, market-making, exchange tech)
- Deep understanding of memory management, CPU cache behavior, multithreading, lock-free data structures, and system profiling
- Strong experience with Linux systems, networking (TCP/UDP), and kernel optimizations
- Familiarity with common market data feeds (e.g., OPRA, ARCA, CME) and protocols (FIX, binary feeds)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
