Asset Management Sales Relationship Management

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to significantly boost market penetration of our services in the APAC region.
  • Lead client relationship management efforts in North Asia from Hong Kong, building and nurturing relationships with Asset Managers at both senior and working levels, focusing on our Fund Distribution Platform.
  • Negotiate and finalise new distribution and platform service agreements as part of our coverage expansion strategy.
  • Serve as the primary contact for onboarded Asset Managers, assisting them with navigating our ecosystem for both product and operational inquiries.
  • Collaborate closely with our regional distributor coverage team to ensure a unified value proposition and growth trajectory for the fund distribution platform business in APAC.
  • Actively manage the strategy and priorities for expanding the Asset Manager universe and increasing revenues.
  • Organise and conduct hospitality events (roadshows, fund fairs, industry events), client visits, and regular interactions to create a positive customer experience for Asset Managers.
  • Contribute to internal projects relevant to the APAC region.

Our Requirements:

  • Over a decade of experience in servicing B2B business partners.
  • University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, IT, or a related field.
  • Established commercial network in the APAC asset management sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business development, contract negotiation, and client relationship management.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently while effectively collaborating with the Singapore and international teams.
  • Fluency in English, with Mandarin and Cantonese skills being highly desirable.
  • General knowledge of Asset Management and Fund Platform/Distribution business.
  • Strong client and service orientation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Results-driven with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented, proactive, conscientious, and resilient.
  • Good regulatory knowledge of fund and ETF distribution and/or data services is a plus.
  • Preferred certifications: HKSI LE Paper 1 in Hong Kong (Singapore CMFAS Module 1B and 6A).
  • Solid understanding of the financial services industry, particularly the funds and ETFs sector.
