APAC Marketing Associate
We have a current opportunity to join a global alternative data vendor as an APAC Marketing Associate on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Shanghai, China.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
- Develop and execute strategies to generate qualified leads across the APAC region.
- Identify high-probability opportunities to convert leads into closed deals.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure effective lead follow-up and conversion.
Content Marketing:
- Create and manage content marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
- Develop high-quality content tailored to B2B audiences, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and social media content.
- Monitor and analyze content performance to optimize future campaigns.
Campaign Management:
- Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns across various channels (email, social media, events, etc.).
- Ensure campaigns are aligned with business objectives and target audience needs.
- Track and report on campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop annual marketing plans that align with business goals and market demands.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the APAC region.
- Allocate and manage marketing budgets effectively.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, product, and customer success teams.
- Communicate campaign plans and results to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure the best deals and deliver high-quality events.
Performance Measurement:
- Utilize marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to track and measure campaign performance.
- Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of marketing activities and identify areas for improvement.
- Report on key metrics and KPIs to senior management.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B field marketing and demand generation.
- Proven track record in lead generation, campaign execution, and performance measurement.
- Experience with strategic planning, budget management, and event coordination.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Strong analytical skills to review performance data and ensure targets are met.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to understand and utilize various marketing tools and platforms.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to influence and persuade internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Strong negotiating skills to secure favorable terms and deliver high-quality events within budget.
- Ability to create clear and compelling marketing materials.
Organizational Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to execute all elements of the marketing plan on time.
- Keen eye for detail and focus on high-quality, results-oriented work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
