Accounts Payable Analyst/Associate

A fast‑growing financial technology platform is expanding its operational infrastructure to meet accelerated growth, rising compliance demands, and increasing platform usage. Operating across multiple business sectors, the organization offers a dynamic and evolving environment. As a key member of the finance team, the Accounts Payable Associate will play a central role in managing accounts payable processes, overseeing vendor relationships, and supporting broader financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and processing invoices, reimbursements, and card expenses, ensuring each item is accurately coded, policy‑compliant, and processed in a timely manner to support smooth operational workflows.
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate vendor records, including updating contact details, payment information, and contractual documentation to ensure reliable and audit‑ready data across all systems.
  • Collecting, organizing, and tracking tax documentation from vendors and contractors, ensuring that all required forms are submitted, stored properly, and remain compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Supporting the preparation, review, and filing of 1099s, working closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure accurate reporting and timely submission during year‑end processes.
  • Tracking operational cash movements and preparing internal reporting, providing clear visibility into spending patterns and upcoming cash needs to support financial planning.
  • Maintaining accrual schedules and completing account reconciliations, ensuring financial statements reflect accurate obligations, timing, and operational activity.
  • Building, updating, and enhancing financial and operational documentation, creating process clarity and contributing to scalable workflows as the organization grows.

Required

  • 2-5 years of experience in account payables, financial operations, or payroll/AP
  • Familiarity with tools such as NetSuite and Ramp
  • Background in crypto, regulated financial settings, fintech, or similarly compliance‑driven organizations
