Senior Equity Research Analyst - Global Technology Hardware & Semiconductors
Key Responsibilities
- Lead fundamental equity research coverage of global technology hardware and semiconductor companies
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models, valuation frameworks, and earnings forecasts
- Produce high-quality research reports, investment theses, and sector outlooks
- Conduct in-depth industry analysis, including supply chain dynamics and competitive positioning
- Meet regularly with company management, industry experts, and other relevant stakeholders
- Support investment or client-facing activities through clear, actionable insights and presentations
- Monitor macro, regulatory, and technological developments impacting the sector
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7-10 years of equity research experience, with proven coverage of technology hardware and/or semiconductors
- Strong understanding of global technology markets, including Asia, the US, and Europe
- Excellent financial modelling, accounting, and valuation skills
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of sector coverage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
(Cantonese is an advantage but not required)
Preferred / Advantageous Experience
- Prior coverage or hands-on industry knowledge in:
- Power supply ecosystems
- Thermal management and liquid cooling technologies
- Experience analysing data centre infrastructure, AI-related hardware, or high-performance computing supply chains
- Established network of management contacts within the technology or semiconductor industry
