DB / DC Consultant
My client is seeking an experienced and client-oriented Retirement Plan Consultant to join their team. This individual will play a key role in advising on and managing both Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) retirement plans. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary consultant for a portfolio of retirement plan clients, ensuring exceptional service and strategic guidance.
- Advise on plan design, implementation, and ongoing administration for DB and DC plans.
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations, and assist with audits and corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver accurate plan testing, reporting, and documentation.
- Conduct regular plan reviews and present findings and recommendations to clients.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices to proactively support client needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retirement plan consulting or administration, with hands-on experience in both DB and DC plans.
- Strong understanding of retirement plan compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage client relationships.
- Proficiency in retirement plan software and Microsoft Office tools.
