Job Brief / Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled C++ Developer to join our hedge fund team, focusing on the development of Order and Execution Management Systems (OEMS) or Portfolio Management Systems (PMS). The ideal candidate will possess strong C++ programming expertise and a solid grasp of financial markets and trading infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications for OEMS or PMS platforms.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and test new features.
- Enhance existing codebases for improved performance and scalability.
- Identify and resolve system issues to ensure reliable operation.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute constructive feedback.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in software engineering.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in C++ development with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming.
- Prior experience in OEMS or PMS development is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, trading algorithms, and the FIX protocol.
- Proficiency with databases, data structures, and modern development tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
