With a strong base of Asian LPs (SEA, Korea, India) and a growing fund size (USD 100M+ target), we are building a platform that combines global exposure with regional expertise.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Chief of Staff / Head of Platform to serve as the single point of contact for all non-investment functions of the firm. Reporting directly to the Founder & Managing Partner, this role sits at a VP-to-SVP equivalent level, with a clear growth path to Principal and eventually Partner-level over time.
The Chief of Staff will oversee and integrate the following functions:
- Investor Relations, PR & Communications, Fund Operations & Administration, Legal Counsel, People
This is a leadership role designed to consolidate reporting lines, drive efficiency, and free senior leadership to focus on investments and LP relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Oversight
- Manage and mentor a team of 5 professionals across IR, PR/Comms, Ops/Compliance, and HR.
- Provide direction, set priorities, and ensure alignment with firm objectives.
- Act as the escalation point and decision-maker for non-investment functions.
Strategic Coordination
- Consolidate reporting lines to reduce distractions for senior leadership.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration and efficiency across all support functions.
- Drive initiatives that strengthen the firm's platform, culture, and external positioning.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Oversee the delivery of LP communications, PR campaigns, and event execution.
- Ensure service providers (fund admin, compliance, HR vendors) are managed effectively by the team.
- Support leadership in preparing for fundraising milestones and industry events.
Chief of Staff Function
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Managing Partner.
- Anticipate needs, streamline workflows, and free leadership to focus on investments and LP relationships.
- Provide strategic input on firm-wide initiatives and operational improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 6 - 8+ years of experience in VC, PE, credit, startup Chief of Staff roles, or professional services.
- Prior exposure to Chief of Staff, Head of Platform, Investor Relations, or Communications leadership roles.
- Strong people leadership intrinsics with the ability to oversee diverse non-investment functions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly with LPs and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams across a distributed team.
- Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
