We are seeking a highly capable Vice President to join our client's Investment Banking team in Paris, focusing on the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) sector.

This position offers immediate exposure to high‑profile, cross‑border transactions a leading TMT franchise, providing hands‑on involvement in complex strategic mandates and significant responsibility from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of complex M&A, minority investments, and capital‑raising transactions across the TMT sector, including software, IT services, digital infrastructure, media, and communications.
  • Manage deal teams and oversee end‑to‑end transaction processes, including financial modelling, valuation, due diligence coordination, and preparation of client‑ready deliverables.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to founders, private equity investors, and senior corporate executives.
  • Oversee the preparation of high‑quality pitch materials, information memoranda, management presentations, and market analyses, ensuring commercial relevance and analytical rigour.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, providing hands‑on guidance across technical and strategic workstreams and supporting long‑term professional development.
  • Track industry trends, valuation dynamics, and competitive developments within TMT to deliver informed, data‑driven insights to clients.

Requirements

  • Experience: 6-10 years of investment banking or financial advisory experience, with a strong track record in midmarket TMT‑focused M&A and capital markets transactions.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring, with a strong understanding of software, services, and asset‑light business models.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead deal teams, manage multiple concurrent workstreams, and develop junior talent in a demanding environment.
  • Client Management: Proven relationship‑building skills and experience working directly with founders, senior executives, boards, and financial sponsors.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and confidently.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong attention to detail, commercial judgement, and comfort operating under tight deadlines in fast‑moving processes.
  • International Mindset: Ability to work on cross‑border transactions and collaborate seamlessly with international teams and clients.
  • Must be fluent in French and English.
