A growing insurance organization is seeking a Customer Success and Relationship Manager to support the onboarding, servicing, and lifecycle management of key broker and client relationships within a transportation focused portfolio. This individual will act as the central liaison between external partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution across the entire policy cycle.
The ideal candidate is relationship driven, highly organized, and comfortable coordinating across multiple internal functions. This role requires a proactive mindset, the ability to manage complex workflows, and strong communication skills suited for both client facing and internal interactions.
Responsibilities
* Lead the onboarding of new broker partners and insured programs, ensuring all milestones, documentation, and processes are coordinated efficiently.
* Drive best practices across onboarding, integration, and ongoing performance reporting.
* Serve as the main point of contact for brokers and insured clients throughout submission, quoting, binding, issuance, and renewal stages.
* Provide structured updates regarding program performance and service expectations.
* Collaborate closely with underwriting, operations, claims, accounting, and other internal teams to maintain alignment on objectives and deliverables.
* Translate client and broker requirements into actionable plans and ensure timely execution.
* Monitor program performance, servicing timelines, and production trends, escalating risks or bottlenecks as needed.
* Support leadership with updates related to onboarding progress, retention efforts, and portfolio performance.
* Review client facing materials for clarity and consistency.
* Contribute to ongoing process improvement and operational effectiveness within the division.
Qualifications
* Strong understanding of commercial insurance processes across submission, quoting, binding, issuance, and renewal.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across a wide range of stakeholders.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external partners.
* Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to navigate complex operational environments.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, Logistics, Communications, or a related discipline.
* Five or more years of experience in commercial insurance, broker relationship management, or a client servicing focused role.
* Exposure to transportation, marine, or logistics insurance is preferred but not required.
