Key Responsibilities
- Design and build low latency trading systems supporting market data ingestion and order execution
- Optimise performance across the entire technology stack, including application logic, operating system behaviour, and network layers
- Improve system throughput, stability, and determinism in highly latency-sensitive environments where performance is critical
- Diagnose and resolve complex performance bottlenecks within real-time production systems
- Work closely with engineering and trading teams to enhance system capabilities, reliability, and scalability
- Take ownership of complex technical challenges from initial identification through to resolution and deployment
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and help shape the evolution of the trading platform
- Continuously improve development practices, tooling, and system design to support long-term scalability
- Support a variety of trading strategies by building resilient, high-performance infrastructure capable of handling large volumes of data and transactions
