About the Role
Our client, a leading provider of technology and infrastructure solutions to the global investment community, is seeking a Vice President of Product Management to lead the strategy and evolution of a market-leading proxy voting and investment stewardship platform used by institutional investors, asset managers, banks, broker-dealers, and corporate issuers.
This role sits at the intersection of financial services, governance, and technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping product strategy, driving innovation, and partnering with clients to solve increasingly complex stewardship, voting, and regulatory challenges. The position offers significant visibility with senior leadership and the opportunity to influence products that support some of the largest participants in the capital markets ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a suite of proxy voting and investment stewardship solutions.
- Partner with engineering teams to define product requirements, prioritize enhancements, and deliver scalable technology solutions.
- Work directly with institutional clients to understand operational challenges, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for product innovation.
- Drive adoption and commercial success by ensuring products align with evolving client needs, market trends, and regulatory developments.
- Translate complex governance, stewardship, and proxy voting workflows into intuitive and scalable product capabilities.
- Collaborate with sales, client service, operations, legal, and technology teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Evaluate opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve client outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Present product strategy, priorities, and business cases to executive stakeholders and senior client audiences.
- Lead and mentor a small team while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and client focus.
Desired Background
- 10+ years of product management experience within financial services, fintech, market infrastructure, governance technology, or related sectors.
- Deep understanding of proxy voting, shareholder governance, investment stewardship, corporate actions, or institutional investor workflows.
- Experience working with institutional investors, asset managers, custodians, broker-dealers, transfer agents, or governance service providers.
- Track record of managing complex enterprise platforms and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Experience building product roadmaps, defining requirements, and working within Agile development environments.
- Intellectual curiosity around AI and emerging technologies and their application to financial services products.
- Executive presence and the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
