Job Description
As an Actuarial Manager, you will collaborate closely with industry leaders and talented consultants while contributing to a broad portfolio of client projects. You will have the opportunity to work with clients across the health ecosystem, including insurers, healthcare systems, regulatory bodies, large employers, and financial sponsors.

Example Project Areas
- Valuation and reserve development for medical and other health-related products
- Captive feasibility studies, funding strategies, reserving, and risk/capital management
- Merger and acquisition support
- Economic capital modeling and enterprise risk management
- Regulatory support, including financial examinations and transaction reviews
- Pricing, product development, strategic analysis, and other cross‑practice initiatives
Qualifications & Desired Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field
- Significant progress toward actuarial credentials (ASA/FSA preferred)
- 5+ years of actuarial experience, ideally in the health insurance or healthcare provider space
- Strong organizational abilities and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment
- Solid project management skills
- Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for rapid learning and professional growth
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Strong time‑management skills
- Commitment to collaboration and effective teamwork
- Strong critical-thinking and problem‑solving capabilities
- High motivation and adaptability in a dynamic work setting
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint required
- Experience with R, SAS, SQL, VBA, or other programming languages is a plus
