Sr. Associate/VP, Leveraged Finance
Job Description
- Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of leveraged finance transactions for private equity clients across Asia-Pacific.
- Evaluate event-driven financing opportunities and assist with transaction execution, including financial modelling, valuation analysis, credit assessment, due diligence review, and preparation of credit papers.
- Prepare pitch books, financing proposals, market updates, and client presentations to support business development and relationship management efforts.
- Work closely with coverage bankers, relationship managers, syndicate, and product partners to deliver financing solutions and ensure successful deal execution.
- Assist in managing the leveraged finance portfolio, monitoring transaction performance, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline; CFA, CPA, or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience within Leveraged Finance, Acquisition Finance, Private Credit, or Investment Banking.
- Transaction experience across LBO financing, acquisition financing, structured debt, or other event-driven financing solutions.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and credit analysis skills, with the ability to assess complex capital structures and financing opportunities.
- Experience preparing credit memorandum, investment papers, pitch books, and transaction-related presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent English required; additional Asian language capabilities would be viewed favourably.
