Specialty Finance Credit Analyst
A Global Investment Bank is seeking an Analyst / Associate to join their Specialty Finance team in New York. The Specialty Finance group is responsible for originating, credit analysis, and portfolio monitoring of transactions across Trade and Commodity Finance and Aviation Finance. This role will provide meaningful visibility into the front office and provide the opportunity to assist in structuring and managing relationships with clients in the given sector.
Responsibilities
- Conduct credit analysis, prepare credit memos to present to credit committees, applications, and other materials for underwriting
- Monitor a portfolio of new transactions and existing deals across Trade and Commodity Finance and Aviation Finance
- Prepare applications, reports, and make recommendations on amendments and refinancings
- Support in deal structuring and relationship management activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics or equivalent with 2+ years of credit experience preferably in Trade & Commodity Finance or Corporates
- Good knowledge of Finance and Accounting
- Advanced in Microsoft 365 and some modeling experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
