Overview
A fast-growing digital asset trading firm is seeking a Software Engineer to join its core technology team in Hong Kong. The company specializes in structured investment solutions and works closely with institutional investors, family offices, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals across Asia and the Middle East.
This is a replacement hire for a well-regarded team member who led several impactful projects. The role offers high ownership, exposure to senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to build products used by real clients in the financial space.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React
- Contribute to mobile app development and enhancements
- Build and integrate backend APIs to support platform functionality
- Lead or support end-to-end project delivery - from system design to deployment
- Collaborate with product and business teams to improve UI/UX and client experience
- Work on internal tools such as CRM systems and authentication flows
Tech Stack
- Frontend: React, TypeScript
- Backend: C# (preferred but not required), REST APIs
- Other: Git, CI/CD, cloud services
Ideal Candidate
- 0-3 years of experience in software development (fresh grads welcome)
- Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with mobile/web apps and backend integration
- Bonus: familiarity with C# or .NET
- Passion for clean code, good design, and user-centric development
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
