Software Engineer (C++ Low Latency) - Quant Trading Firm
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize low latency C++ trading systems and infrastructure
- Build and enhance exchange connectivity, market data handlers, and order execution systems -
- Collaborate closely with traders and quants to implement and refine trading strategies
- Conduct performance profiling, latency optimization, and system tuning
- Develop high-performance systems with a focus on throughput, reliability, and scalability
- Participate in full development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, and production support
Key Requirements
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++14/17 or above)
- Solid experience in low latency / high-performance systems (HFT, trading systems, real-time systems preferred)
- Deep understanding of:
- Multithreading & concurrency
- Networking (TCP/UDP, sockets)
- Linux systems programming
- Strong knowledge of performance optimization techniques (memory management, CPU/cache behavior, latency tuning)
- Experience with market data, exchange connectivity, or trading systems is a strong plus
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
