SIRA Manager

With over 30 years of experience in issuing, promoting, and processing Visa and Mastercard credit cards, this organization is a trusted payment service provider with a strong presence in both the Netherlands and Germany.
As SIRA Manager, you will lead the strategic development and execution of the Client Integrity Systematic Integrity Risk Assessment (SIRA). This role is central to identifying and mitigating financial economic crime risks, improving operational processes, and ensuring regulatory alignment across the business. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape the SIRA framework and drive long-term impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the Client Integrity SIRA, ensuring it reflects the specific risk profile of the credit card business.
- Develop and maintain a strategic SIRA framework that highlights key risks and areas of attention from the organization's perspective.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align on risk priorities and compliance standards.
- Continuously monitor and analyze developments in financial economic crime (FEC), client behavior, and internal feedback loops (KYC/CDD, transaction monitoring, NCTO, and exit processes).
- Translate insights into actionable improvements in processes, products, and cost efficiency.
Your Profile
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 7 years of professional experience, including 5+ years in FEC policy, AML, CFT, and sanctions.
- Proven success in identifying and mitigating client integrity risks.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Deep expertise in SIRA, KYC/CDD, client monitoring, and risk-based approaches.
- Experience leading complex programs and fostering a culture of courage, care, and collaboration.
- Resilient and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
- Strong stakeholder management and decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrates ownership and accountability in driving strategic outcomes.
