Role Overview
We are supporting a boutique financial services firm in Amsterdam in their search for a Senior Financial Manager. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in financial accounting and trust services, managing international client portfolios, and ensuring compliance across complex structures. The position involves close collaboration with legal teams and offshore service centers, with a strong focus on transaction monitoring and source of funds analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations and prepare financial reports under Dutch GAAP and IFRS
- Draft and consolidate annual financial statements for international clients
- Manage tax filings (VAT, CIT, wage tax) and debtor collections
- Conduct transaction monitoring and source of funds reviews
- Support audit processes and compliance activities
- Act as a key contact for clients, delivering tailored financial guidance
Candidate Profile
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 4 years' experience in financial services, with trust sector exposure
- Proven track record managing international client portfolios
- Strong understanding of Dutch GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting
- Experience with compliance, transaction monitoring, and source of funds procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, client-focused mindset
