Private Equity Associate
A Denver-based private equity firm focused on middle-market Technology and Software investments is seeking a Private Equity Associate to join its growing team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a lean, entrepreneurial environment and gain hands-on exposure across the full investment life cycle, including deal execution, due diligence, portfolio management, and add-on acquisitions.
Responsibilities:
Conduct industry and market research to evaluate investment opportunities
Build financial models, valuation analyses, and returns scenarios for prospective investments
Take a lead role in due diligence processes and transaction execution
Monitor existing portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives
Assist with portfolio company operations and strategic projects
Qualifications:
1-3 years of Investment Banking experience with M&A exposure at a reputable middle-market or lower middle-market bank; transaction advisory experience will also be considered
Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
Advanced financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience or interest in healthcare, business services, industrials, manufacturing, consumer, or related sectors preferred
