A rapidly growing digital asset securities firm-licensed as a Broker-Dealer under the local financial regulatory framework-is seeking an experienced Operations professional to join its expanding team. The company is actively preparing to obtain additional regulatory licenses that will enable it to offer a broader suite of digital asset products to institutional clients.
Operating at the intersection of digital assets and traditional capital markets, the firm provides a unique environment where innovation, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence come together. This role gives the successful candidate a rare opportunity to contribute directly to the development of an emerging financial ecosystem, while working closely with cross-functional teams such as Compliance, Technology, Trading, and Client Coverage.
As the organization scales, transaction volumes, product diversity, and regulatory complexity continue to grow. To strengthen its operational backbone, the company is adding new headcount to the Operations team. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to build operational foundations in the next generation of financial markets.
Japanese speakers are especially welcome, as the role may involve supporting a diverse client base across APAC, including Japan.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and overseeing a wide range of operational activities across both Digital Payment Token (DPT) products and regulated capital markets instruments. Core responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and supporting full trade lifecycle processes for DPT and Capital Markets Products, ensuring all activities align with applicable regulations, internal controls, and industry best practices.
- Conducting daily trade and position reconciliations across multiple asset classes and counterparties, identifying breaks promptly and following up with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Developing, enhancing, and maintaining operational workflows, dashboards, and reconciliation tools to strengthen internal controls and ensure timely settlement.
- Applying product knowledge and project management capabilities to design and refine implementation plans for new product launches, technology integrations, system enhancements, and evolving regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating closely with the Technology team to support front-to-back system improvements, testing (UAT), deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Assisting cross-functional groups-including Compliance, Onboarding, KYC/AML, and Client Service teams-by responding to operational queries and facilitating smooth client engagement.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce operational risk, and build scalable processes that support the firm's long-term growth.
Job Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in Middle Office or Capital Markets Operations within financial services or the digital assets/crypto industry.
- Strong working knowledge of capital markets products, including Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Structured Products
