A leading financial services consultancy is seeking a Manager Financial Reporting, IFRS & Finance Transformation to support banks, insurers, asset managers, and pension organisations with complex reporting and finance transformation initiatives.
In this role, you will advise CFOs and senior finance stakeholders on financial reporting, IFRS, accounting policy, reporting governance, and finance transformation. You will help clients modernise end-to-end reporting processes, improve controls and governance frameworks, and implement reporting technologies and operating model enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise senior finance leaders on IFRS, financial reporting, accounting, and transformation priorities.
- Lead finance transformation and reporting improvement projects across financial services organisations.
- Design and optimise reporting processes, controls, governance frameworks, and operating models.
- Support the implementation of reporting, disclosure, consolidation, and last-mile reporting solutions.
- Translate accounting and reporting requirements into practical process and technology solutions.
- Manage project teams, stakeholder relationships, and client deliverables.
- Contribute to business development and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Reporting, IFRS, Accounting, or Finance Transformation.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, consolidation, and reporting governance.
- Experience within banking, insurance, asset management, pensions, or a financial services consultancy.
- Exposure to reporting transformation, operating model design, or technology-driven finance programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Professional qualifications such as RA, RC, CA, or ACCA are advantageous.
Preferred Experience
- Reporting governance and disclosure management.
- Record-to-Report (R2R) and finance operating model design.
- ESG or regulatory reporting.
- Experience with Workiva or similar reporting and disclosure platforms.
