Life Sciences Investment Banking Vice President
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of M&A, equity, and debt transactions within the life sciences sector
- Oversee preparation of financial models, valuation analyses, and client presentations
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, investors, and internal stakeholders
- Manage and mentor Associates and Analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Support senior bankers in business development and pitch processes
- Coordinate across internal teams to deliver comprehensive advisory solutions
- Maintain strong knowledge of biotech, pharma, and life sciences market trends
Qualifications
- 5-8+ years of investment banking experience, with a focus on life sciences, biotech, or biopharma
- Demonstrated experience leading transaction execution (M&A and/or capital markets)
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- Prior experience managing junior team members
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, PhD, or MD preferred
