Our client is looking for a driven and commercially minded professional to join a leading credit sales platform as a Vice President in Leveraged Loan Sales, based in London. The role sits within the Credit Sales team, with a focus on leveraged loans across both primary and secondary markets, covering a broad range of institutional clients.
This is a front-office role offering exposure to a dynamic and growing platform, with strong collaboration across syndicate, trading, and origination teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the distribution of leveraged loan products across primary and secondary markets to a diverse client base including asset managers, hedge funds, CLO managers, and private credit funds.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors across the UK and Europe.
- Collaborate closely with syndicate and origination teams to support new issue execution and investor engagement.
- Provide market intelligence and trade ideas to clients, leveraging internal research and trading insights.
- Monitor market developments and investor flows to identify opportunities and support strategic growth of the loan sales franchise.
- Represent the desk in client meetings, roadshows, and internal strategy discussions.
Candidate Profile
- 5-10 years of experience in leveraged loan sales, credit sales, or loan syndication.
- Strong understanding of the leveraged finance market, including deal structures, documentation, and investor dynamics.
- Proven track record of client coverage and transaction execution across a range of institutional investors.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
