Investments Director of FP&A - Insurance
What You Will Do:
- Partner with investment and finance stakeholders to support portfolio forecasting, planning, and strategic analysis.
- Build and maintain financial models used for scenario planning, investment performance measurement, and forecasting activities.
- Deliver recurring portfolio analytics and reporting to leadership, highlighting key trends and business insights.
- Evaluate portfolio returns, asset allocation, and market developments to identify risks and opportunities.
- Monitor yield and spread performance metrics to support profitability goals and investment strategy execution.
- Contribute to investment income forecasting, budgeting, and capital planning processes through data-driven analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, investment analysis, or investment management in the insurance or asset management industry.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and accounting principles
- Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, Power BI, or data visualization tools.
- Experience with investment analytics platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin) and investment accounting platforms (e.g., Clearwater) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial data to senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
