Investment Banking Vice President - Renewable Energy
A leading middle-market investment banking platform is seeking an experienced Vice President to join its growing Renewable Energy & Energy Transition practice. This is an opportunity to work directly with senior leadership on high-profile M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments across the renewable power and infrastructure landscape.
The Vice President will play a key role in leading transaction execution, managing junior team members, interfacing with clients, and supporting business development initiatives within a rapidly expanding sector-focused banking platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory engagements
- Manage transaction processes, due diligence efforts, and project timelines
- Serve as a day-to-day client contact for company management teams, sponsors, and investors
- Review financial models, valuation analyses, pitch materials, and transaction documents
- Mentor and develop Analysts and Associates
- Support new business development and client relationship efforts
- Coordinate with legal, accounting, and other third-party advisors throughout transaction processes
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of Investment Banking experience
- Minimum 3 years of Renewable Energy, Power, Infrastructure, or Energy Transition experience
- Proven track record executing closed M&A and/or capital raising transactions
- Strong client management and project leadership abilities
- Experience managing and developing junior banking professionals
Technical Experience
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills
- Experience with renewable energy project finance and operating models
- Strong understanding of multi-site and multi-phase renewable energy projects
- Prior exposure to solar, battery storage (BESS), and broader energy transition sectors preferred

Compensation
- Base Salary: $225,000
