Investment Analyst
An established family office in Singapore is looking to appoint an Investment Analyst to support investment research and portfolio activities across a broad range of asset classes. The firm invests globally and maintains exposure to public markets, fixed income, private investments, and venture opportunities.
This role is suitable for an investment professional who enjoys deep research, critical thinking, and working across multiple asset classes. While equity research experience is valuable, the team is open to candidates from other investment disciplines, including fixed income, foreign exchange, private markets, and venture investing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fundamental research and due diligence on investment opportunities across various asset classes.
- Analyse companies, industries, and market trends to identify attractive investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain financial models and valuation frameworks.
- Assess company financials, business quality, competitive positioning, and growth prospects.
- Present investment views and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Support portfolio monitoring, risk assessment, and investment reporting.
- Track macroeconomic developments and industry trends that may impact investment decisions.
Ideal Candidate
- At least 1 year of experience in investment research, analysis, or investing.
- Exposure to public equities, fixed income, FX, private equity, venture capital, or related investment strategies.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to formulate and articulate independent investment views.
- Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and eager to learn.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
