Head of Finance
Your Role: Head of Finance / Finance Manager (m/f/d)
In this leadership role, you will:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB, while also applying your knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping in SAP FI/CO and oversee all core accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets.
- Serve as SAP FI key user, supporting system users, analyzing processes, and driving improvements in collaboration with IT.
- Manage tax reporting and compliance, including VAT filings and support during audits.
- Oversee liquidity planning, maintain banking relationships, and develop long-term financing strategies with a focus on working capital optimization.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives within the finance department, promoting structured change and open communication.
- Manage and mentor a team of three, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work culture.
Your Profile
- Degree in business administration, finance, or accounting-or equivalent commercial training with certified qualification as a balance sheet accountant (IHK).
- Several years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong expertise in HGB, IFRS, tax law, and compliance, with the ability to analyze complex financial matters.
- Proficient in SAP FI/CO and familiar with BI tools and automation solutions.
- Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Inspirational leadership style with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in German and proficient in English.
