Field Property Claims Representative
We're looking for a detail‑oriented and experienced field property claims representative with a strong background in property claims across personal and/or commercial lines. This role requires prior exposure to complex, high-severity claims and the ability to manage investigations and resolutions effectively. The position offers full remote flexibility within the Sacramento area, with periodic travel required for on-site property inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex property claims across personal and/or commercial lines
- Conduct detailed coverage analysis and determine liability, damages, and appropriate reserves
- Manage claims end-to-end, ensuring timely, fair, and accurate resolution
- Perform or coordinate on-site property inspections as required
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, experts, and external stakeholders
- Negotiate settlements on high-exposure and complex files
- Maintain accurate claim documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Deliver high-quality service to policyholders and business partners
Qualifications
- Strong experience in property claims (personal lines, commercial lines, or both)
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex and high-severity claims
- Proven track record of independently managing a full claims workload
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Willingness and ability to travel for site inspections as needed
