Compliance and Legal Expert (m/w/d)
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring regulatory developments and supporting the continuous enhancement of internal policies, guidelines, and processes
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents
- Managing internal and external legal and regulatory inquiries
- Conducting and supporting AML audits
- Acting as the interface to the external data protection officer and supporting the implementation of data protection requirements
- Reviewing marketing and communication materials for compliance with regulatory standards
- Coordinating internal and external auditors
- Developing and delivering internal communications and target-group-oriented compliance training
Your Background & Personal Profile
- Fully qualified lawyer
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable legal and compliance role, ideally within financial services, asset management, or a regulated environment
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a structured, goal-oriented working style
- Ability to explain complex regulatory matters clearly and practically to non-legal stakeholders
- Enjoyment of taking ownership, working independently, and identifying pragmatic, business-oriented solutions
- Excellent written communication skills and a confident, professional communication style
- Fluent in German and English
