The Opportunity
We're looking for a Cloud Engineer with 5+ years of experience and strong expertise in Microsoft Azure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading technical initiatives, and delivering cloud solutions that have a real business impact.
You will be involved in a mix of cloud migration, transformation, and greenfield projects, helping to design and build scalable, secure, and modern cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Azure migration and modernization projects.
- Design and build greenfield cloud environments.
- Drive cloud transformation initiatives across the organization.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
- Work closely with engineering, security, and business stakeholders.
- Take ownership of technical decisions and project delivery.
- Improve cloud governance, automation, reliability, and security.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Experience within banking, fintech, insurance, or other regulated environments.
- Strong hands-on Azure experience.
- Proven experience delivering:
- Cloud migrations
- Transformation programs
- Greenfield cloud projects
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or similar IaC tools.
- Knowledge of Azure networking, security, identity management, and monitoring.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Ownership mentality and ability to work independently.
