China A-Share Equity PM | HK-based Asset Manager
Responsibilities:
- Actively manage A-share dominant equity portfolios in line with investment guidelines and client mandates.
- Implement a disciplined investment process focused on alpha generation, including stock selection, portfolio construction, and risk management.
- Conduct fundamental business model assessment and valuation analysis of individual securities.
- Generate investment ideas and support the broader investment team with financial analysis and market research.
- Support business meetings, client correspondence, and business development initiatives where relevant.
- Conduct research travel and perform ad-hoc investment-related duties as needed.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of solid portfolio management experience investing in China A-shares, preferably with a proven investment track record.
- Strong proficiency in fundamental analysis, with a valuation-based investment philosophy.
- Exposure to Hong Kong and other global equity markets would be considered an advantage.
- Strong primary research, writing, data awareness, and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English and Chinese required. Additional languages considered a plus.
- Willingness to travel for research purposes when required.
